Shoe
Lab was founded in 1975 by Jerry Guederian, an Armenian immigrant who came
to the United States from Lebanon in search of his dream and freedom. He
graduated from A.R.S. Sutoria Institute of Shoe Design in Milan, Italy at 19
years old.
He opened his first store, a dusty little shop in
Pasadena (California's family-oriented neighborhood.) After having some
success, Guederian sold the store in 1980 and purchased a much larger store
in Westwood, California, where Shoe Lab experienced a growing popularity
among the movie industry and entertainment business. He opened up 6 more
mall locations in southern California.
In 1995, after successfully forming the "instant shoe
repair" concept, he decided to broaden Shoe Lab's wings and become part of
Las Vegas' growing market. Ten years later, Shoe Lab has become the most
trusted and reliable shoe repair company in Nevada.
